Rebates for Income-Qualified Residential Customers

Our new Energy Smart Program assists income-qualified Michigan households in making energy-efficient choices for their homes. If you’re eligible, you can earn enhanced rebates for the purchase of ENERGY STAR® certified appliances and electronics, which help reduce your home’s energy use and utility bills.

Free Virtual Assessments for Residential Customers - NEW!

Are you interested in learning how you can save energy at home, but aren’t sure where to start? Our free virtual energy assessment can help!

How It Works

Simply sign up, and an energy advisor will schedule a video-sharing meeting with you. Using a cell phone or tablet, you will “guide” your energy advisor through your home, so you can learn how to lower your energy use, make your home more comfortable, and reduce your energy costs.

What You’ll Receive

After your appointment, the energy advisor will send you a customized report with energy-saving recommendations and a list of available rebates. This gives you the information you need to decide if an energy-efficient upgrade is right for you and your home. You may also qualify for free energy-saving products, such as smart strips and sockets, weatherstripping and more, depending on the results of your assessment.
